Welcome to North Sumatra! Upon arrival at Kualanamu International Airport (KNO), your English-speaking guide will greet you. Scenic drive passing rubber and palm oil plantations to Bukit Lawang, a village at the edge of Gunung Leuser National Park. Check into your eco-lodge beside the Bohorok River and relax.

After breakfast, begin a half-day jungle trek into the rainforest. Listen to the sounds of nature and look out for Thomas Leaf monkeys, gibbons, and the majestic semi-wild Sumatran Orangutan. After the trek, experience a fun traditional tube rafting ride down the river back to your lodge. The rest of the afternoon is free at leisure.

Today we drive off-road to Tangkahan, famously known as the "Hidden Paradise." Enjoy an incredible experience watching and helping mahouts wash the rescued Sumatran elephants in the river. Afterwards, drive back to Medan City. Check into your hotel and enjoy the city's vibrant culinary scene at night.

Enjoy a brief morning tour visiting the historical Tjong A Fie Mansion, showcasing beautiful Chinese-European architecture. Depending on your flight schedule, our driver will transfer you to Kualanamu Airport for your onward journey.
